Episode 4 is more or less an introduction episode – and this one features one of Germany (and at the same time, Italy, considering how he’s still hanging around Germany)’s allies – Japan.
After a brief introduction, we get to see how Japan proves it’s worth as an ally by providing the construction of U-boats to aid them during the way. They can’t pull off the real deal, but…
..he does offer them a limited time only mini boat collection!
But that’s not all! The little boats can then transform into a massive robot that can probably do some generically cool massive robot type stuff.
Japan continues to impress.
After a somewhat disturbing onsen scene, we get into the Chibitalia segment of the show – which more or less features an emo Spain and the start of the Italian Wars.
Austria's sure got that little guy good.
The episode later on ends with Germany overlooking Japan’s calm characteristics and Italy’s constant blaring of the wotd “pasta” – and will seem to continue into next week’s episode, as it becomes apparent that the trio are stuck in some kind of southern island.
